Landmark ROMs don't work well in PCem

Post by Ruud »

Hello,

I'm busy programming my own diagnostics ROM for the PC-XT and compatibles. I'm using the Landmark ROMs, to be found at [Moderator: Please do NOT post links to copyrighted material], as a reference. I tried the ROM meant for the XT under PCem and noticed that it raises an error on the three 8253 timers.

FYI: I tested things on an ASUS R704A, W7-32, at home and a DELL ???, W10-64, at work. As PC I used the IBMXT and GENXT, both running at 4.77 MHz and 64 KB of RAM (to shorten the RAM test).
Groetjes / kind regards, Ruud Baltissen

Posting a link to the copyrighted ROMs even if its for testing is a no-no and will be removed when Sarah sees it. >.<

If you have a problem with the software and the machines that are tested, you can post them here...but NOT the ROMs itself.

By the way, Landmark produces software. :|
