Re: DOS games testing list
All of those games work perfectly?
Re: DOS games testing list
Yes, with just some slowdowns (and some crashes like Carma and SRally). I will also test others to see if works fine or not.
Re: DOS games testing list
Could anyone test this game? TIE Fighter CDROM?
EDIT: Also returns me to DOS prompt without choosing to emulate VESA BIOS.

Re: DOS games testing list
I was able to run the TIE Fighter DOS cdrom version using v15 of PCem. My emulated PC was a 486 DX4 at 100 Mhz with 16mb of RAM, a 2 Gb hard drive, Sound Blaster 2.0 and the ATI Graphics Pro Turbo Mach 64 GX video card. The game CD installed the required driver files for the game. The game ran fine.

Re: DOS games testing list
I now tried the Mach64GX and result is same. The message still appears. Choosing or not choosing Y still leaves me in the DOS prompt.
Where these driver files are located?
EDIT: I tried also UNIVBE with no luck
EDIT2: I now tried the DOS4GW patches in the SUPPORT folder on the cd, the /u and /v switches with TIE.EXE and still same result.

Re: DOS games testing list
Try deleting UNIVBE.DRV and run UVCONFIG
Re: DOS games testing list
I had already tried deleting UNIVBE.DRV and running UVCONFIG.EXE. I tried again and got same result.
Any workaround possible?

Re: DOS games testing list
I'm trying to launch Earth 2140 DOS version on my Overdrive, it fails to initialize sound, see below:
The setup program autodetected and configured the sound card correctly and why it gave me this error?
Someone can test this game, Earth 2140 from Interplay, and give me the results?
Any ideas? Maybe a PCem bug?The setup program autodetected and configured the sound card correctly and why it gave me this error?

Re: DOS games testing list
Can someone test this game above? Earth 2140?
Re: DOS games testing list
Have you already tried manually selecting the options according to PCem's configuration, if the game even has manual configuration? Not that I'd expect this to be the problem, but sometimes autodetection is wrong for one reason or another.
Re: DOS games testing list
Well, I tested it...
During installation sound blaster 16 auto detection works fine, I can hear the digitized sound, however, it crashes when the program tests CD Audio tracks
It has been reported that CD audio tracks don't work

Re: DOS games testing list
Weird, as the CD audio test worked fine for me.
EDIT: I now disabled sound in setup and the CD audio test now hanged with some green dots below on the screen.

Re: DOS games testing list
It works with sound and everything.
Re: DOS games testing list
Anyone can test Shattered Steel from Interplay? I tested this game, but it crashed when I go to start a mission.
Re: DOS games testing list
Works here: Emulated System:
Machine: AMI WinBIOS 486 with a i486DX/50 CPU
Video: S3 ViRGE/DX
Sound: Sound Blaster 1.5
RAM: 256MB
OS: DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11
Re: DOS games testing list
As I've said above, the game hangs when I try to launch a mission or enter the Holoprojector.
Any ideas? Maybe a configuration problem? I don't know why it's not working for me.

I just tried now your config and same results. The hang persists.
Re: DOS games testing list
I am testing another game, Rise of the Robots, CD version.
The system hangs in this screen after the short video test in the SETUP program: Anyone can test this game and give me the results? I am testing the CD version, Director's Cut.

when i start the game with start.bat, the intro freezes (works with DOSBox). qstart.bat is an option, because the game starts, but I don't see the intro this way.
The Big Red Adventure
after a while the voiced dialogue in the intro begins to cracking and the game crashes. Same problem with dosbox.
B.A.T. II - THE KOSHAN CONSPIRACY
german and english version works fine with "Paradise Bahama". But when I choose "Diamond Stealth 3D 2000" I have some graphics gliches with the german version. english version works fine.
Time Paradox
Music works with AWE32 (pcem v15), but with sb or sb16... I can't hear anything, yeah. And even with AWE32 I don't have speech (freezes when I want to take the stone in the first screen - not the worst timing, though ). Can maybe somone else test this? Edit: with videcdd instead of oak there is still no speech, but at least text (freezes anyway): https://imgur.com/a/ibvav9R

@Sarah: Would you consider making a sticky with app testing ?
