Garbled/Double-Playing Audio

Post by CryptidWorks »

I get this on both the PCI-128 and the Ensoniq with the newest drivers and I've had happen in a couple different games/instances

There's also a tiny bit of crackle even when the glitch isn't happening

Issue is I don't if a bug with the Soundblaster emulation or real-behavior from some kind of software issue. I just know it's not lag/stutter because the emulation speed is locked at 100% when it happens.

Okay, Update now that I've gotten other sound cards working:

Switching my system to the AWE32 with the default drivers completely fixes this issue but I still don't know if it's real behavior or a problem with PCEM's emulation of the 5th generation Soundblasters.
