Ctrl-Alt-PageDown not working

Post by Ark »

Hi!
As I said, from the version 13 of PCem when I'm in fullscreen mode the shortcut doesn't work.
I tried to use it in different computers without any positive result.
No problems with version 12 and 11.

Here my configurations

1 Notebook with
Core 2 Duo T6600
Ram 4gb
Geforce gt240m 1gb
Windows 10 home 64bit

2 Main desktop
Core i5 4590
Ram 8gb
Radeon r9 280x 3gb
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

3 Old desktop
Core duo e8400 on Asus p5kse
"4gb" Ram
Geforce 9600gt 512mb
Windows 7 home premium 32bit

Sorry for my bad english, it isn't my native language.

PS
This emulator is awesome, congratulation to the developers.

EDIT

There is something new.
With my old keyboard, which have a dedicated button for pag down (in the classic scroll keys area) it works properly.
Pratically it doesn't work anymore with the pagDown/3 button on the keypad and PCem consider it now as an imput for the guest machine.

hm, i just compiled newest src. and in native linux everythings works ok. also v14 release version for windows has no problems in wine on linux.
the shortcut seems to work ok on both, on linux and windows version.

I'm unluky with PCem.
I have to use v12 but I have issues also with that version.
For example if I minimize the window it directly closes the application.

and what mean the first sentence "As I said, from the version 13 of PCem....." ??? as You said what? maybe You spoke in other forum but not here. Describe Your problem again.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I probably did not explain well in my first message.

- With PCem v13 e v14 I have the shortcut issue, when I'm in fullscreen the only option to go in windowed mode is typing ctrl-alt-canc and going in win task manager, in this case PCem reset and I lost the session.

- So I have to use v12, but in this case I have the "minimizing issue", irritating but less invasive.

However there is something new for v13 an v14.
With my old keyboard, which have a dedicated button for pag down (in the classic scroll keys area) it works properly.

hmm, maybe it is just simply wrong codepage in your system? maybe do set standard english keyboard, what languadge do You use?
PS. if you have weak host CPU then stay on v12 i found it more efficient.

I don't think I fully understand your problem with the keyboard keys.
But if you have, the problem that you report on v12 only happens with Direct3D. Switch to OpenGL and you'll no longer have that problem
