Hey,
I downloaded the PCemV17Linux.tar.gz (Linux)
I was trusting enough to install the program with root privileges and I am wondering if the packager (perhaps Sarah) can provide a SHA256-Hash for the download?
Btw: I might add to the readme that the ROMs (for instance the generic one) must be placed in ~/.roms ..took me some minutes to find the appropriate folder as I thought it would be fine to cp it into the build folder (for any reason which might also lead to the conclusion that I have some lack of knowledge with Linux, but perhaps I am not the only one)
Also: I couldn't find where I can change the key-combination to exit the PcEm and get control over the mouse/keyboard again neither did I find it in the readme what default config it is which forced me to reset my host
Much obliged,
Marcel

The makefile tried to install (copy) the bin to /usr/bin which only works with higher priviliges.SarahWalker wrote: ↑Fri 14 May, 2021 6:38 amWhy?marcello42 wrote: ↑Thu 13 May, 2021 1:04 pm I was trusting enough to install the program with root privileges

Huh. Learn something new every day.
