What's happened to PCem V18?

No progress has been done on the new PCem V18 and the last version for PCem has so far been V17 released in December 2020 and it is almost 4 years since the lastest release of PCem and I would wish the new developer of PCem would be releasing the new version of PCem since the old developer left in 2021 and I do wish to see the graphics and CPus for the 2000s put to PCem when the new version comes out?
