Linux CD not possible

Hi, so I wanted to try out PCEM, but the problem is that it is impossible for me to actually use it because on linux, there is no possible way to actually load CD images. There is no right menu, or no top menu bar. Is this a bug, or is there another solution that I am just not seeing here?
