Windows 3.1 graphics card drivers ?

I can't seem to find a working graphics card in the list of available graphics cards.
S3 doesn't work (Windows won't load because of a problem with the video driver after having installed the driver)
Not even the standard SVGA driver seems to work, the only one that's working is the vga driver.

So, I was wondering which is a useful choice for a (virtual) Win3.1 machine and where can I find drivers?

Check your motherboard and graphics card compatibility 3.1 ran at 256 colour vga might need to do a reinstall once you get the hardware correct.

Real S3 cards never worked with Windows for Workgroups' SVGA driver. The Cirrus, Oak and Tseng cards should though
